Working With Us The vision of Harris Academy Clapham is a simple one. From our opening in September 2020, our academy is a place where 'everything is possible' .At Harris Clapham, the curriculum is delivered through high-quality teaching. This is codified in our research-informed approach to pedagogy, which we call the Clapham Way. Embedding and building on the basics – ensuring that every student acquires the vocabulary, literacy and numeracy skills to enable them to fully participate in society

Learning to take sensible risks .A centralised behaviour system, with each year group supported by non-teaching pastoral leaders
Harris Federation professional development training days and networking support.
Managing the SEN register, including updates of student information, input into Bromcom, IEP updates and EHCP administration
Creating analyses of behaviour data of SEN students
Keeping and distributing accurate minutes of SEN team TA meetings
Ordering all necessary resources for the SEN department
Filing all paperwork pertaining to SEN students, ensuring copies are in student files after having been read and actioned by the SENCO
Organising the timetables of SEN students receiving support from external agencies (e.g .Ensuring paperwork for SEN requirements is copied/replenished and accessible to relevant staff
Organising marketing and catering for events/parent workshops or coffee mornings
Assisting with SEN data analysis, provision maps and associated costing
Assisting with creating Annual Review packs and High Needs funding packs
Sending a weekly bulletin to ALG and the SEN team summarising key issues and actions regarding SEN students
Presenting a professional and welcoming face of the Academy to all visitors, staff and students, including telephone callers
GCSE mathematics and English at grade C or above and relevant level 3 qualification
Knowledge of procedures for entering data on a central management information system
Basic training on Management Information Systems
