SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
HSG Security are a part of NES Services Group, a well-respected national security and enforcement group of companies.


With recently receiving an events contract in South Wales, we are seeking additional SIA door supervisors to join our Cardiff team.

Times of work
This role is part time shifts, including weekend and night availability as needed


Salary
£13.50 hourly rate

This is the minimum rate for this role however security work is paid at various rates

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Door Supervisor, you will be required to:

  • Pre and post event checks
  • Safety and queue management
  • Effective management of conflict and complete safe, lawful ejections
  • Checking passes, ID, and ticket checks
  • Patrols of the venue or client premises
  • Responding to incidents, emergencies, and preservation of crime scenes
  • Monitor spectators for signs of distress, overcrowding and inappropriate behaviour and report these to the onshift supervisor
  • Be vigilant, identify potential hazards and suspicious behaviour and report to the onshift supervisor
  • Assist with evacuation in the event of an emergency
  • Enforce venue policies and procedures
  • Ensure fire exits are kept clear
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines and regulations are adhered to
  • Execute licensable activities and venue licence requirements

Requirements:


  • Hold a valid and in date SIA door supervisor licence
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience in security work
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflict

FLEXABILITY

Job Types:
Permanent, Zero hours contract

£13.50 per hour
