We're looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our Transportation team based in London.

Contract:
Permanent, Full Time


Salary:
Up to £40k + Company Car + Benefits


Responsibilities


As a Health & Safety Advisor, you'll assist in the management and promotion of health, safety, environment, and well-being for our activities across the London contracts.

This role is predominantly based in our TfL Tunnels and Pumping Stations (TaPS) contract and will require cross-functional support to other business units and involve travel to other base locations.


Your day to day will include:

  • Support and engagement with teams to ensure compliance with safety, health, environment, and well-being policies, setting a good example to colleagues.
  • Collating information to produce reports, promote and support campaigns, arrange meetings, workshops, and forums.
  • Regular site, depot, and office inspections.
  • Supporting teams to close actions from audits, inspections, incident investigations, near misses and safety observations and identifying trends.
  • Performing other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required commensurate to salary and role.

Who are we looking for?
This role of Health & Safety Advisor is great for you if you have:

  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental qualification at Foundation level
  • Experience in a similar role and knowledge of temporary traffic management and premises/facilities management
  • Working knowledge of SHE legislation and

ISO:
9001, 14001 & 4500- Full UK driving licence
