    Teacher – Built Environment

    Salary Qualified* up to £40,492

    Unqualified up to £32,079 per annum FTE

    Location: Harlow (Engineering & Built Environment)

    Full time or part time available

    Permanent position

    Do you work or teach in the Built Environment and Construction industry and are looking for a change?

    We're looking for you

    We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented teacher who will play a key role in preparing, planning and delivering courses on our Built Environment and Civil Engineering courses - including the T Level in Design Surveying and Planning for Construction. This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your skills and inspire the next generation by working in Further Education.

    This is a great first step into education from industry or to progress your career in FE by working in a vibrant and positive learning environment. The successful candidate, along with the growing team, will support the students to develop necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours which will enable them to progress on to universities, apprenticeships and employment in areas such as surveying, architecture, civil engineering, site management and structural engineering.

    We would love to meet with you if you have;

  • Level 3, 4, 5 or 6 qualification in the Built Environment sector such as; civil engineering, site management or surveying
  • Experience of the Built Environment industry
  • Enthusiasm to pass on your skills and knowledge to the future generation
  • Excellent communication skills and have a flexible and positive approach
  • Knowledge of CAD/Revit software is desirable but not essential
  • You do not need a teaching qualification to work in Further Education, just a passion to educate. We will support the successful applicant to gain their teaching qualification whilst they work at no cost
