This is an exciting role for a recent Graduate to get a wide exposure to all areas of a fast-paced finance function.

We are looking for bright, ambitious people who are willing to learn and eager to progress in their finance career.

We know this may be your first position in a corporate setting, full training, guidance and support will be provided.

Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, you will work as part of a wider team to manage the purchase and sales ledger


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reconciling all bank accounts on a monthly basis and producing any required reports;
  • Managing bimonthly payment run. This includes preparing a list of due payments and liaising closely with suppliers to address queries;
  • Ensuring that the company meets its obligations in relation to the payment of HMRC and other thirdparty deductions;
  • Preparing monthly payroll and sharing with the payroll bureau to be processed. This includes checking timesheets and calculating overtime, allocating overtime payments, allowance payments and bonus & pension schemes, processing holiday, sick and maternity pay;
  • Assisting with Capex analysis and reporting;
  • Assisting Regional Financial Controller with Cashflow forecasting and reporting;
  • Assisting with completion of group reporting pack;
  • Liaising closely with employees on payroll issues/queries
  • Assisting Corporate Finance Manager with the preparation of annual budgets;
  • Adhoc project work and duties as and when required.

Essential Skills & Experience:


Essential

  • Recently graduated from a degree with finance as a key component;
  • Proficiency across the Microsoft office suite; particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong numerical Skills;
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills;
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy;
  • Proactive with initiative and a strong team player;
  • Ability to build and maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Strong Ability to Manage own time & responsibilities;

Desirable

  • Exposure to QuickBooks
  • Exposure to a multifaceted finance function
  • Experience in fast paced organisation

Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
