Large UK manufacturing company require a Fitter to work on a contract basis for a long term contract.


This is an excellent chance to work plenty of hours (50+ possibly available each week) including weekends, with overtime premiums available.

You will be required to assist in the manufacture and mechanical build of electrical control panels and distribution panels.


Fitter Requirements:
Previous experience of working in a hands-on production environment
Previous experience of working from both 2D and 3D engineering drawings and schematics
Good working experience of busy and fast paced environments
Previous experience of using hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, wrenches and allan keys
Must be happy to work repetitively - building high volumes of similar products


Fitter Responsibilities:
Assembly and fitting of control panel units and electrical enclosures from 0.5m x 0.5m up to 2m x 2m in size
Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and building mechanical panels accordingly
Liaising and assisting other production team members to ensure that all control panels are built correctly
Assembling frames, doors, panels and trunking
