    Title: Maintenance Improver – Plumber

    Contract: Permanent full time hours per week

    Location: Greater Manchester

    Salary: £24,200 per annum

    An opportunity has arisen within the Maintenance services North West team to transition from Apprentice to Improver.

    We are looking for a Plumber Improver to provide a customer focused repairs and maintenance service assisting with and completing repairs. This role report directly to the maintenance supervisor and work under their supervision.

    Improvers contribute to the team objectives including first time fix, resident satisfaction and void turnaround times. Targets and achievements operating with the

    L&Q values in mind with everything you do.

    To be considered for this role

  • Candidates will have demonstrated high level of enthusiasm and a good work ethic throughout their apprenticeship
  • Be able to carry out tasks and repairs under supervision
  • Show an interest in improving resident satisfaction
  • Demonstrate good verbal communication skills and be conversant with Direct Maintenance systems including PDA usage
  • Have completed or working toward final completion of their apprenticeships including the end point assessments
