As
Finance Associate your role will be to support all aspects of Performance Management within Financial Control in the SLB (Santander London Branch) with particular focus on Income/Financial Reporting for Markets division.


Reporting to the Finance Director you will be the dedicated person within financial control supporting Markets providing monthly and ad-hoc financial performance reporting.

This role is based within Santander Corporate and Investment Bank (SCIB) in London.


The difference you'll make.

  • Collating and analysis of monthly income, margin and balance sheet information
  • Managing the month end reporting cycle to meet reporting and analysis requirements in accordance with appropriate financial controls
  • Supporting in the budgeting and forecasting processes, working on forecast, actuals and adhoc requests
  • Being a main point of contact for the Front Office Markets team for any finance related queries
  • Working with the local and global Financial Control teams to ensure alignment of Management Information

What you'll bring.

  • Understanding of key drivers of wholesale markets profit & loss and balance sheet drivers
  • Strong excel skills and evidence of process improvement and semiautomation of tasks to reduce manual operational risk

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Previous experience in a management information and control function
