Job Title:Administration Assistant
Location: On-site
Basis: Part time 15hr a week over 3 days.
Salary: £22,800-£24,000 (commensurate with experience, skill set and pro rata)

An exciting new position has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to support the Finance and Operations Officer and wider team at Ewhurst Park near Basingstoke in Hampshire.
Ewhurst Park is a 925-acre rural estate which has embarked on an estate-wide biodiversity and sustainability project with the goal of restoring the land for nature, growing healthy and ethically produced organic food. We aim to inspire people to reconnect with the land, nature, and sources of food through community outreach, organized education and hospitality events held on the estate.
Areas of responsibility:
Primarily you will support our Senior Operating Officer with implementation of the day-to-day office administration, financial, and operational elements of the business. You will be joining a small team serving various estate functions with leadership from the Estate Manager. Your role will be diverse, requiring flexibility in your responsibilities.As a growing organization with an evolving structure you will be required to be adaptable, willing to use your initiative in a start-up environment and be proactive.
In addition to carrying out general administrative tasks, the role provides an excellent opportunity to be involved in a new and expanding business with a solid ethical focus on restoration of our natural landscape.
This role will include regularly working with other departments on the estate.
Your experience:
Essential skills:
1.Educated to A-level or equivalent and above
2.Ability to work under pressure under your own steam and in a positive manner
3.A high level of competency in Word and Excel
4.Experience of working in an office environment
5.A positive approach and a willingness to take on new and varied tasks
6.Can demonstrate a methodical approach to work
7.Ability to meet deadlines and handle priorities in an efficient and resilient way
8.The desire to work in a team and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
9.Experience with accounting and bookkeeping desirable
10.Confidence to engage with visitors and the local community to assist with the organization of events held on the estate
11.The ability to communicate clearly and professionally both orally and in writing
12.Excellent attention to detail
Desirable:
1.Experience with Publisher and PowerPoint
2.A passion for the natural environment
Normal working hours are likely to be 3 days a week 5 hours each day for example 09:30-14:30. However, some flexibility will be required for events and to meet deadlines.
