We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller to become a part of our team at BW. In this role, as the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Finance Director by offering precise and punctual financial information to all relevant stakeholders for informed decision-making. Furthermore, you will be involved in ensuring the seamless functioning of the finance team on a day to day basis including all financial reporting. Your responsibilities will extend to collaborating with a wider team and providing assistance whenever necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Quarterly management information production – group level
• Work closely with the wider commercial team
• Prepare and present to the Financial Director monthly Board Pack
• Management of annual external audit process
• Assist Finance Director in consolidation of annual budget and prepare ad hoc reports
• Oversite of VAT returns and CIS returns
• Review KPIs and reporting of non-financial measures
• Assist in improvements / development of Construction Finance systems / processes
• Oversee balance sheet review process and ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve any issues identified.
• Review and approve weekly supply chain payments

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• CIMA part qualified with a proven track record in producing concise and engaging management information.
• COINs experience preferred but not essential
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Construction Industry experience preferred
• Team player
• Software implementation experience desired but not essential
• Advanced Excel (VBA) preferred – training provided
