    Description

    The Asprey Group are recruiting for a talented 3D/CAD Designer to assist the Silver, China & Crystal Category, Corporate & Export and Workshop departments with 3D Printing and CAD production design support.

    Responsibilities


    CAD Design for client commissions, stock manufacturing, prototype and product development across our Silver, Jewellery and Leather categoriesn3D printing and rapid prototyping of our designs and product development projectsnCreating accurate technical drawings for the Jewellery and Silver WorkshopsnLiaising with Category Designers and the Workshop Manager to ensure our 3D manufacturing processes are achievable and efficient.

    To be the key point of contact between the two areasnPreparing CAD files for castingnAssisting the Silver Category & Export Department with creating 3D models and CAD visuals for client presentationsnMaintaining 3D printing machines to ensure a clean, safe and efficient workshopnResearch of new technology with the aim of integrating this into our current

    setupnSelf-management of workload and time

    Skills/Qualifications

    5 years' experience or greater with Rhino (ESSENTIAL) and

    Matrix Gold.n5 years' jewellery or silver trade experience (ESSENTIAL).

    Leather experience would be helpful.nExperience working with 3D printing machines.nExperience working with casting companies.nBench experience would be advantageous.nAbility to work with multiple teams and prioritise workload.nAbility to problem solve and adapt quickly to a change in design or manufacturing process, anticipating what will be required.nExcellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to multitask on several projects concurrently.nAttention to detail with the ability to contribute and communicate CAD design ideas to various stakeholders.nClean CAD modelling.
