    Description

    Are you ready to work with children who are polite and eager to learn? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. The Bramham Shadwell Federation is looking to recruit two caring, pro-active and ambitious class teachers to join us in September 2024:


    • Full time teacher for Key stage 2 in the first instance


    • Part time (0.4) teacher for our EYFS class in the first instance

    You will be based at Shadwell school but also be a colleague within our wider federation team with all the collaborative support opportunities this brings. These are class-based roles with the further opportunity to take on subject leadership.

    Shadwell school is a thriving school in a beautiful semi-rural village environment on the outskirts of Leeds. Our vision is to be an inspiring, inclusive community and we are fortunate to have a supportive school and wider village community which enables us to provide additional inspiring activities for our children. We also have a large outdoor learning area including class allotments, pond and wildlife areas. An interest in outdoor learning would be beneficial.

    • Are able to provide high standards of teaching and has a commitment to their own development

    • Are interested in outdoor learning


    • Have a good understanding of the relevant parts of the national curriculum/ EYFS and experience of working in KS2 or EYFS/KS1 as appropriate to the role


    • Are passionate about teaching and learning for all children
