We currently have vacancies for

Days Warehouse Operatives (Order Picker) based at our Cross Hands depot.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The role for a Warehouse Operative (Order Picker) is to pick customer orders and maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment and recycle our used materials in an appropriate manner

Duties include:

Picking of goods for dispatch according to picking procedures and KPIs
Utilization of Voice man picking system
Administration of picking documents as appropriate, whilst demonstrating attention to detail
Ensuring all products are handled correctly to minimize damages
Ensuring that products picked are of saleable quality in accordance with company policy, particularly Health and Safety and Quality
Working as part of team to ensure picking bays are fully replenished adequately for order picking
Maintaining good stock rotation ensuring shortest dates are picked first
Maintaining excellent customer service when dealing with customers
Put away of deliveries ensuring new stock is either filled or stored correctly
Compliance with Health & Safety and Hygiene legislation
Adhere to the Companies clean as you go policy
Meet customer expectations in service and product quality

Who are we looking for:

A team player who can also work independently when required
Demonstrates attention to detail
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided
You should consider yourself physically fit
Have basic literacy and numeracy skills (a basic test is given at interview)
Be prepared to work in a cold store at 20 (full protective equipment is provided)

What we offer:

43 hours a week split shift Sunday 07:0016:00, Monday
Friday 05:3015:15 with Thursday off

- £22,533.51 starting rate with the potential to increase after probationary period

25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays. You will be expected to work some Bank Holidays if required.
