    Role : WAF Security Engineer

    London, UK

    Contract (Inside IR35)

    Hybrid – 2 das onsite in a week

    Day Rate – 450GBP/Day Inside IR35

    Job Spec:

    Mandatory Skills - Web App Firewall F5 BIG-IP ASM

    Additional Skills - Python Scripting

    (F5 WAF)

    1. Experience with vended WAF solutions (F5, Imperva, Nginx App Protect).

    2. Experience with F5 AppProtect is a strong plus.

    3. Good to have scripting skills (shell, python, batch, power shell etc.)

    4. Strong analytical skills in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving.

    5. Experience with web-based attacks, OWASP Top 10 web vulnerabilities, web application testing with tools like BURP Suite or Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP), and extensive knowledge of networking protocols like TCP, websockets, gRPC, HTTP/2

    6. Good to have experience with RASP technologies

    7. Akamai

    8. Web Application Firewall (WAF) experience with onboarding & workflow

    9. Akamai WAF: Bot, ATO, Rate Limiting, DDOS, OWASP rule tuning

    10. WAF security policy tuning

    11. AWS WAF: Bot, ATO, Rate Limiting, DDOS, OWASP rule tuning

    12. WAF API experience, UNIX administration with scripting (shell, python, etc.)
