    Paediatric Staff Nurse - Neurosciences - Bluebell/Sunflower Wards

    That's why we want you to join our vibrant team at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC), in a Trust previously rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC, and help us deliver world-class care in a department that feels like a family.

    Bluebell and Sunflower Wards are our neurosciences wards which provides a tertiary service. Care is provided by an integrated team of specialist Paediatric Neurologists, Paediatric Neurosurgeons, Paediatric Neuro-rehabilitation and Allied Health Professionals. Our ward consists of 12 beds and a separate Neuro rehabilitation unit with 8 beds. We treat neurosurgical, spinal surgery, specialist epilepsy surgery service, neurology and neuro oncology patients aged 0-16.

    We have full and part time positions available and want enthusiastic and committed nurses to join our team.


    Please note that this vacancy is not suitable for internationally educated nurses requiring to complete OSCE in order to register with the NMC.

    Bristol Royal Hospital for Children provides services for children from across the South West of England, and is one of the UK's five specialist Paediatric Major Trauma Centres.

    Broad knowledge and experience of clinical nursing practice within a hospital environment
    Computer skills
    Competence in calculations for safe administration of medicines/fluids
    Public Sector Language Competency
    Be able to speak fluent English to an appropriate standard

    Qualifications and and Training
    RSCN/ RN child branch (NMC registered) or equivalent
    Current NMC registration
