    Salt is seeking an accomplished product design expert with a proven record in app design within large ecommerce companies.

    As a key player in the team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our client's consumer app ecommerce platform, focusing on checkout, loyalty and rewards whilst exploring new verticals to align with their app-first vision.

    Role Description:

    • Function as an individual contributor, not directly managing teams but leading by example in creating outstanding app experiences.
    • Oversees the delivery of world-class, digital-first experiences that achieve commercial goals, such as increased digital channel share,
    • Showcase a visionary approach, constantly pushing design boundaries and setting the course for future app experiences.
    • Emphasize a commitment to achieving world-class quality in the live user experience rather than focusing solely on design team management.
    • Mentors and coaches experienced professionals to develop current and future team capabilities and ensure performance.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience in user-centred design and research across UI & UX.
    • Proven expertise in app ecommerce product design with a portfolio demonstrating successful contributions to well-known brands.
    • Experience in creating seamless checkout processes, engaging rewards systems, and venturing into new verticals.
    • A track record of exceptional speed and quality in UI design for ecommerce apps.
    • Prior experience in leadership roles, with a focus on individual contributor responsibilities.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive success through measurable metrics.

    Key Success Metrics:

    • Contribute to producing the best-performing ecommerce app journeys in the UK within one year.
    • Measure success through key metrics including Conversion Rates of Sales Journeys and Digital Customer Satisfaction metrics.
