    Description

    Job Title: Principal Structural Engineer
    Location: Manchester Office & Remote Work
    Salary: Up to £65,000, based on experience
    Job Purpose:

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage projects according to company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to project management systems and QA protocols.
    • Assist the Head of Infrastructure in maintaining a financially sustainable division with key clients.
    • Create designs that meet client requirements and industry standards, using established analysis tools.
    • Prepare technical reports to meet client needs.

    Key Skills & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
    • Minimum 5 years of design experience in consultancy.
    • Chartered status with ICE or IstructE.
    • Proficiency in design software such as TEDDS, Robot, CADS, Tekla Structural Designer, etc.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Familiarity with Eurocodes and industry standards.
    • Previous experience in structural surveys and reporting.
    • Valid UK driving license and vehicle access.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
    • Capacity to oversee commercial aspects of projects from start to finish.
    • Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
    • Proficient in minor geotechnical design.
