About the role:

A leading education charity are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team. This collaborative role involves leading a team of Business Partners and managing the financial performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Managing and overseeing a team of Finance Business Partners, supporting with income, expenditure, and assets
  • Reviewing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing financial reports and presenting key information to designated areas
  • Assisting with internal and external audit processes ensuring deadlines are adhered to
  • Supporting senior stakeholders with monthly reporting and business support
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or similar equivalent)
  • Solid, proven experience in:
  • Business partnering
  • Line management
  • Technical accounting
  • Supporting senior level stakeholders
  • Working to tight reporting deadlines
  • Confident using Excel and Accounting Systems
  • Engaging with excellent communication skills and a real ability to build solid rapport
  • A proactive selfstarter, able to manage a demanding workload and manage time effectively
