CNC Grinder Programmer/Setter Required

We have an exciting new opportunity with our well-established client, based in Clacton-On-Sea, A world class engineering company who manufacture precision machined components for a variety of industries including but not limited to: Medical, Electronic & Aerospace.

They are the market leaders in the design and production in engineering and technological innovations.

Following a large period of growth, they are looking for a fully qualified CNC Grinder Programmer/Setter to join their team.

You will be responsible for programming and operating CNC Grinding machines to produce precision engineered components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and someone who takes pride in their work.

CNC Grinder - Position Overview

Programme, Set & Operate CNC Grinders
Produce products, working off engineering drawings and specifications.
Review work orders, drawings, and job specifications to determine the correct grinding operation, tools and materials required.
Perform routine maintenance of CNC Grinding machines.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met.
Measure and inspect finishes components using instruments such as Micrometres, Gauges & Callipers CNC Grinder - Position Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC Grinding machines.

Familiar with the following:
Walter, Vollmer, Numroto, Helitronic Tool Studio, Carbide, Zoller, Helicheck, Balancing, Dressing
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Able to programme, set and operate.
Relevant qualification
Experience working with plastics beneficial.
Familiarity with measuring equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different departments. CNC Grinder - Position Remuneration

£12 - £14 Per Hour
Monday to Friday

8am - 4:30pm
