    Job Title: Assembly Technician

    Sector: Renewable Energy

    Location: Doncaster

    Salary: Up to £35,000 (Experience Dependent)

    Nicholas Associates collaborates with an innovative eco-friendly energy technology firm situated in Doncaster, seeking to recruit a skilled Assembly Technician.

    About the role:

    • Assembling mechanical components according to engineering blueprints.
    • Bending and installing small and large stainless steel tubing.
    • Firm grasp of fundamental mechanical principles.
    • Maintaining precision and meticulousness to meet company standards.
    • Adhering to stringent health and safety protocols.
    • Providing feedback and enhancements to the design team.
    • Collaborating with team members to enhance product and process evolution.
    • Contributing to ongoing enhancement of workshop and storage processes.

    Key skills and required experience:

    • Qualified in a relevant engineering field.
    • Problem-solving skills in engineering.
    • Previous experience in an engineering assembly setting.
    • Proficiency with solid pipework, particularly stainless steel and twin ferruled systems.
    • Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and P&IDs.
    • Familiarity with tubing systems, fittings, pipework, and instrumentation.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Positive attitude and adept at managing multiple projects.
    • Proficient in using common hand and power tools, possessing basic bench fitting skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Readiness and adaptability for potential travel.
    • Effective time management capabilities.

    Desirable skills:

    • Experience with ATEx/IECEx equipment.
    • Specialized experience in oxygen-rich processes.

    Start Date: Immediate.

    Salary: The salary is flexible, up to £35,000 based on qualifications, experience, and skills.
