    About the Role:

    The reinsurance operations teams across Europe and LATAM support LM Re's European branches. The first point of contact for internal stakeholders, such as underwriting and reserving, as well as external stakeholders, such as brokers and clients. It supports the Regional Claims Manager for Reinsurance Europe in delivering a world class, integrated global claims service by providing quality information regarding LM Re's European claims book in a timely and accurate manner, thereby ensuring that all relevant metrics are well understood and flow into all necessary internal processes. Occasional travel to our Paris and Cologne branches will be required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ·Own claims authority for local claims adjusting in both Paris and Cologne, in conjunction with the London Claims Team.

    ·Join meetings from other teams where input from the claims perspective is required.

    ·Become the Subject Matter Expert for the new Reinsurance Claims system.

    ·Participate in meetings with brokers and clients where needed.

    ·Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements forms part of your role, and the demonstration of behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy, as they relate to your role, is core to LSM's commitment to our Liberty Values, placing customers at the centre of our business and behaving with integrity. These requirements include the Senior Managers and Certification Regime Conduct Rules ,Solvency II, fair treatment of customers, Financial Crime, Data Protection, Conflicts of Interest, and Whistleblowing.

    Skills and Experience:

    ·Dedicated experience of working in Reinsurance or Insurance, Claims or Underwriting

    ·Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with the claims and operations teams within LMRe.

    ·Ability to forge excellent relationships throughout all levels of the wider organisation as well as with external clients and brokers.

    ·German and/or French language skills preferred but not essential.

    ·Strong user of all MS Office applications, especially Excel
