    Air Freights CoordinatorDue to increased global growth, we are seeking for an Air Freight Coordinator to be part of our Air Freight team with our London Heathrow Office based in Slough of ALPI UK Ltd.

    You will co-ordinate Air freight activities for Alpi UK.


    Office Hours:
    Monday – Friday 08.30 hours – 17.30 hours (one-hour unpaid lunch)

    Salary Range:
    £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experienceKey Roles and ResponsibilitiesEnsure all air import/export jobs are completed correctly and in a timely mannerEnsure all customs declaration tasks are completed correctly and in a timely mannerReport immediately to the line manager any amendments to customs declarationsEnsure the operational system is always used and correctlyAssist other department as and when required by the companyProvide support and holiday coverage for the local staff when requiredMaintain regular communications with the network and sales teamLook and propose new efficiencies in customer workflowLiaise with HMRC and maintenance of customs proceduresEnsure all reports are completed as per provided deadlineEnsure the SOP's are followed completelyLook and propose new efficiencies in customer work flowEnsure that all goods under Alpi's deferment account are approved for deliver with accounts or line manager or an agreement must be place on SOP or quotesPassing invoices from suppliers and providers within 48 hours from receiptEnsure Insurance is charged correctlyEnsure insurance claims are given to the claims department immediatelyPropose and report to Line Manager; strategies related to the Air productsSkills, Experience and CompetenciesProven experience, gained ideally within the Freight Forwarding sectorKnowledge and experience of Import/Export multimodal businessKnowledge/skills required for Air Freight sales and productsDemonstrate quality communication skills along with good presentation skillsProficient with Microsoft packages especially Ms Excel and general PC knowledgeGood understanding of logistics processes and proceduresMust be able to prioritise and organise own workload with attention to detailAble to work independently and as part of a teamMust be flexible with their working hours.
