We're looking for someone who loves being outdoors and inspiring young people to love the outdoors too, to be our new Senior Instructor at Scout Adventures Fordell Firs.
We have indoor accommodation for 67, a tented village for 48 and camping for more than 800 in a mix of woodland and grass areas over 48 acres.
As well as providing a wide range of programmes and events to our members, our centre provides day visit and residential programmes for schools and has a strong reputation for working with groups and charities catering for young people with additional needs.
Your role will include but not be limited to providing high quality outdoor activity sessions in line with the centre's operating procedures and co-ordinate programme activities across our centre.
You'll lead in the development of staff members and volunteers, providing mentoring, training and support personal development to help uphold the quality and standards within delivery.
You'll also lead in specific projects; these could include Duke of Edinburgh business, procurement, product development, quality control, event management, etc.
Other NGB qualifications in archery, bushcraft, water sports will be beneficial).Experience in undertaking and reviewing risk assessments, operating procedures and ensuring health and safety requirements are adhered to as well as supporting a variety of customer needs and preferences is necessary.
