EMEA Events Manager needed for global organisation on temp to perm basis. You'll join a company with a powerful and positive purpose of enabling cutting-edge research

Hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 remote

Temp Salary £27 per hour


The Role:


The Tradeshow & Events Manager is responsible for the delivery of European event strategies and tactical plans that drive brand awareness, lead generation/nurturing as well as eloquently convey the workflow messages which include all product and serviceportfolios.


This position requires advanced knowledge and use of event marketing campaign channels and tactics to achieve key growth around business objectives as well as considering the customer buying journey including creating awareness, establishing interest, drivingcustomers toward a purchase, and ultimately developing brand loyalty.

This position works closely with Divisional Leaders, Product Managers, Product Marketing Directors, Sales, Sales Enablement, Content Specialists, Designers and Developers to optimize eventefforts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of the EMEA annual tradeshow and event calendar including in person, virtual and hybrid tradeshow/events at account, regional, national, and international levels.
  • Ensure team alignment on event campaign objectives; measure campaign success and deliver postevent reports with analysis and recommendations for improvements.
  • Partner with EMEA campaign marketing to build brand strength within the event execution, supporting the development and deployment of brand and content strategy across the region.
  • Manage Tradeshow and Event budget for assigned teams, working with Product Management, Marketing Manager and Sales Teams. Maintain and manage the financial information for all eventrelated POs
  • Provide logístical support (CRM, Accommodation, Shipments, Pick and packing, Stock take) for all events across the tradeshow calendar with assistance from the Event and Marketing Specialist
  • Work with US Tradeshow team colleagues on consistent branding as well as join Global Event Team meetings

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field of study
  • Event experience
  • Experience working with various platforms; SFDC, Marketo, Pardot, Domo
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum
  • Adaptable to change and able to pivot to accommodate changes in the market and business landscape
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience working within a Life Sciences, Biotech or Healthcare company highly desired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident, selfmanaging, and organized
  • Enjoy working as part of a team to deliver results, learn and share knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and multitask efficiently
  • Manual and physical dexterity in distribution of literature/exhibition equipment.
