    Main duties of the job

    The Endoscopy team provides a wide range of investigative and therapeutic endoscopy procedures for patients attending as day cases, in-patients and emergencies. The unit is the Lead Centre for the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme for Bolton, Wigan and Salford so you will be at the forefront of this exciting will be joining a well-established service who work as one Multi-disciplinary team in the truest sense of the word.

    We want you to bring your excellent communication skills & a passion for improving patient care to our team. You will be responsible for the provision of excellent care, supporting patients, relatives, and other MDT members. You will be supported by experienced nurses who will encourage you to develop to ensure both your clinical and leadership skills are of a high standard, your development is a key priority for us and we will ensure you have a Personal Development Plan that helps you achieve your ambitions.

    About us

    Our Endoscopy Unit forms part of the Acute Adult Care Division of the Trust. The unit is purpose built and consists of 4 procedure rooms and 2 recovery areas. The Endoscopy team provides a wide range of investigative and therapeutic endoscopy procedures for patients attending as day cases, in-patients and emergencies. The unit is the Lead Centre for the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme for Bolton, Wigan and Salford so you will be at the forefront of this exciting work. The department is open 7 days a week Monday to Sunday to and Bank Holidays. You will be joining a well-established service who work as one Multi-disciplinary team in the truest sense of the word.
