InterQuest are delighted to be working with one of our most prestigious clients who are an industry leader in the software sector, supporting them with the recruitment of a Global Pricing Development Manager to join their thriving in London.

The role offershybrid working, a competitive basic salary, bonus and car allowance.


What is expected of the Pricing Manager?

  • The Global Pricing Manager (GPM) is responsible for the development and management of the necessary pricing tools and policies for pricing analysts to create client pricing proposals and for the efficient generation and management of global price lists
  • Develop and maintain best practice pricing tools (e.g. Global Pricing Tool) and associated user training guides for the company's pricing analysts across the globe to create efficient and accurate client pricing proposals for Request for Quotations (RFx)and proactive proposals
  • Set, launch and publish pricing policiesfor pricing analysts including usage guidelines as appropriate.
  • Create and develop global pricing methodology and associated pricing tools for the pricing of priority Global Office Services propositions in the hyperautomation. This will be implemented and maintained in conjunction with the Global Sourcing and Cost ManagementTeam
  • Track and analyse relevant data (e.g.
    market, competitor, profitability and winloss data) to effect change where necessary including in cost base, practises or functionality of tools. This will be implemented in conjunction with the GlobalSourcing and Cost Management Team
  • Complete defined tactical pricing projects to contribute to the ongoing development of the business area

What we look for in a Pricing Manager?

  • Significant experience, at least four years, typically six years, in a pricing/costing role, preferably global in scope
  • Significant experience of successful pricing for large enterprise clients
  • Significant experience in designing and developing complex pricing tools, processes and strategies
  • Very advanced VBA, MS Access, SQL etc and Excel skills, including ability to construct accurate bespoke complex financial modelling, working with large forms of data and complex formulas in templatebased and bespoke pricing models.
  • Excellent analytical, questioning, reasoning and decisionmaking skills, coupled with a strong appreciation for the business impact
