Ideal Health are recruiting for an experienced NHS Information Governance Manager to support a Trust based in Liverpool. This is a part time, 6 month contract for 3 days per week. The minimum requirement to be on site will be 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities include the management of the IG teams delivery; the post holder will be the main point of escalation for the team and must be willing to lead and create the agenda for the twice monthly Information Governance meeting.
The post holder must have a strong understanding of governance in a health care setting and will have responsibility for supporting all aspects of governance within their area. This will include advice and support regarding incident and complaints management processes and clinical effectiveness. Previous relevant experience and knowledge of the NHS Data Security Protection Toolkit is required.
Key responsibilities:
Administration and attendance of key meetings including but not limited to, the Information Governance meeting and Risk Assurance Group
Monitor and present on the Digital risk register
Management of the quality and delivery of the Data Security Protection Toolkit
Management and coordination of Incidents and resolutions are they arise
Contribute to the Change Advisory board meeting
Prepare monthly reports for the audit committee on progress against auditable items related to IG
