The Coordinator, Commercial Supply Chain Planning will manage executional aspects of the finished-goods packaging production planning, for the International region.


This role will support the Finished Goods Supply Planning Team in managing the international supply plans of finished goods, to ensure demand is met and inventory levels are maintained.

The Coordinator will work together with internal teams (upstream supply planning, tech ops, artwork, packaging engineering, quality, logistics) and external packaging contract manufacturers, to enable the execution of supply plans.


The position is located in London and will report to the Associate Director, Commercial Supply Chain Planning based in London, UK.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

General responsibilities:


  • Timely and accurate delivery of key tasks to enable efficient and reliable supply operations
  • Act responsibly and with initiative on independent activities
  • Be the Supply Chain contact on a specific set of topics, with both internal stakeholders and with contract manufacturing/logistics suppliers
  • Utilizes appropriate software and IT systems to effectively manage daytoday activities
Operational responsibilities:


  • Executes and distributes reports by specific deadlines
  • Owns data maintenance for specific processes
  • Analyzes data and ensures accuracy before sharing
  • Supports data gathering, manipulation and circulation
  • Executes a set of transactions, in multiple systems
  • Works within the GxP regulations framework (training will be provided)

EDUCATION:


  • Preferred but not mandatory STEM education
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


  • Understanding or experience of large corporate environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (written/oral)
  • Displays ability to multitask and, with guidance, prioritize assigned work in a fastpaced environment
  • Team player that can demonstrate a cando attitude in supporting the company wider goals
  • Possesses ability to manage own workload
  • A fast learner, curious and proactive in expanding his/her professional knowhow
  • Analytical thinking and detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • General affinity with IT systems (experience in ERP systems and/or planning tools is a plus)
  • Knowledge or interest in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to bring creativity and energy to resolve technical challenges
  • Ability to collaborate with other functional areas (such as Pharmaceutical Development, Technical Operations, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Quality Assurance/Control)
  • Comfortable with evolving responsibilities and structure
Travel:


  • This position might require occasional travel to suppliers and Vertex offices internationally.
