    Job Advert Role Description

    We are currently looking for a Care Team Leader at Ogilvie Court in Earls Colne, Colchester

    Ogilvie Court offers 24/7 specialist residential care in a community setting for up to 25 adults who have learning disabilities, Autism, Mental Health issues, Prada Willi Syndrome, behaviors that challenge and associated health issues. Our aim is to deliver a quality person centered service to empower individuals to lead a more independent and fulfilling life.

    As a Care Team Leader you will assist the Manager and Deputy Manager of the Service, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. To provide a professional, high quality service that enables our residents to achieve their aspirations and goals through empowerment and putting the service user at the centre of all we do, ensuring safety at all times. Ensure own actions and behaviour and through the effective supervision of Support Workers, the service complies with corporate policy and local procedures, statutory regulations and quality standards.

    Knowledge & Skills

  • NVQ 3/ Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or related area or equivalent or higher recognised qualification. 2 years' experience at a senior care level
  • Knowledge and understating of supporting individuals with Learning disabilities and associated needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent Computer based skills
  • Ability to produce care and support plans and risk assessment independently
