    Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)
    £We currently have a superb opportunity for an experienced and Mechanical bias Operations and Maintenance Engineer to join one of our clients who are a leading provider of services to the CHP (Combined Heat and Power), Power and District Energy sector.

    Based out of Woking, your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain mechanical plant and equipment within CHP energy centres and network customers' premises.

    Service, diagnose faults and repair a wide range of mechanical plant with particular emphasis on internal combustion engines, generators, and CHP units.

    Monitoring of performance and status, early diagnosis of faults and working to PPM lists to maximise operating efficiency, availability, and asset life, with utilisation of CMMS and reporting systems.

    Be part of an on-call rota.

    Qualified and experienced mechanical engineer, holding relevant mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ standard, relevant apprenticeship / qualification in mechanical engineering.

    Experience in maintenance & repair for commercial pumps, motors & valves.
    Experience of operating and servicing power generating plant, electrical distribution, pumped heat and chilled water systems.
    Experience of working with PLC/SCADA systems desired.
    Royal Navy / Marine Engineering background considered.
