About the Job


The Head of Sales (Rest of the World) will be responsible for leading the Rest of the World sales team, maximising commercial opportunities to drive revenue and maximum ROI in line with KPIs.

You will inspire, coach and develop your team members with the ultimate goal of achieving team KPI's and driving performance.

The rest of the world sales team sell golf holidays to long haul destinations including the USA, South Africa, Dubai, Malaysia and more, as such experience with long haul travel will be beneficial.


Key Roles/Objectives:


  • Develop and implement a strategy around 3 key pillars (CAX Plan) and KPI's set in the business plan.
  • Lead and manage the Sales Specialist Team day to day with a clear strategy and reporting process.
  • Responsible for communication of team performance to the SLT and the wider business monthly.
  • Responsible for commercial targets and performance review on a monthly basis.
  • Input into monthly structured marketing campaigns with the Marketing team.
  • Implement monthly and bi annual reviews with all team members inline with KPI's and goals.
  • Full sales / GM responsibility for all rest of the world sales agents both individually and as a team
  • Provide support and advice.
  • Embed company values within the team.
  • Demonstrate company values in all interactions.
  • Act as a mentor to new team members

Requirements:


  • Significant travel industry experience
  • Experienced with Long Haul destinations
  • A proven sales person.
  • A proven leader with experience getting best from sales teams
  • GDS experience
