    My client is looking for an experienced Qualified Accountant to oversee a broad spectrum of departments and lead on the strategy and operation of the business. You will have 7 direct reports including, HR, IT and Marketing so previous experience of working with these teams would be a distinct advantage. You must be comfortable with leading teams outside of your financial expertise, showing clear strategic direction, being commercially astute, showing a high level of professionalism and also the ability to bring teams together to work in a cohesive way. This is a pivotal role in driving financial sustainability and operational efficiency to support my clients on-going growth.

    Role summary:-

    • Work closely with senior leadership to align financial and operational strategies identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks.
    • All financial planning, budget management and financial reporting.
    • Manage financial controls, procedures, and systems.
    • Oversee financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with various departments for effective budgeting and operational management.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

    Role requirements:-

    • Ideally Qualified Accountant with professional practice training and commercial experience in industry
    • Visible and agile leader.
    • Strategic thinker who possesses excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of proficiency in financial software.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
