    The purpose ofthe role will be to provide departmental support around a projectto migrate SQL-reporting into Azure. Day-to-day duties will includedeveloping and implementing data flows; Create custom SQL exports;Delivering the acquisition, cleansing, and transformation of data;Identifying opportunities through the production of analysis,comparisons and benchmarks; Engaging with subject matter expertswithin the organisation to understand data quality and lineage;Undertaking complex analysis of information to ensure consistentand accurate reporting to meet the needs of stakeholders; Providingregular data and information updates; Routinely undertakingdata-quality checks to a high-level of data accuracy; Leveragingbusiness intelligence tools; and associateddocumentation.

    Requirements
    • A commercial track record in data,information or performance analysis and an understanding of theprinciples of data management.
    • Data integrationexperience utilising SSIS
    • Experience of workingwith SQL Server databases and tables.
    • SQLscripting to interrogate data sets
    • Experienceworking Azure data, and Azure Data Factoryspecifically.
    • Advanced MS Excel skillsincluding Power Pivot Tables, DAX, VBA, and/ormacros.
    • Identification of data errors throughexception reporting and subsequent datacleansing.
    • Experience working with data frommultiple sources.
    • A good understanding ofdatabase structures and translating business requirements intoreportdefinitions.

    As anindividual you will have excellent problem-solving skills andattention to detail, whilst also being a self-starter comfortablewith taking responsibility for delivery. You will have excellentinterpersonal skills, the ability to think on your feet and beultimately goal orientated. The role will be predominantly homebased, with ad hoc days on site in the North West as required whichwill be expensed. On offer is a day rate engagement initially forthree months, and outside of IR35.
