    Planning Supervisor

    Our client is looking for an outstanding candidate to become Planning Supervisor for a global Food Manufacturing company. This is an opportunity for detail-orientated Planning Supervisor to join a new factory and help make a significant impact on production for this blue-chip company.

    Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Work cross-functionally to identify areas of improvement across manufacturing and distribution channels (internal and external).

    Demonstrate knowledge of ERP/MRP systems either excel or systems based.

    Optimise promotional/seasonal activity execution and increase demand and product availability in general.

    Supervise the day-to-day supply planning / scheduling for the site, achieving company service / stock and waste targets.

    Process all customer orders, reporting service issues when required.

    Review forecasts and demand flagging potential service failures or stock write offs.

    Manage the planning of all product launches ensuring that first delivery dates are met.

    Supervise the site Supply Chain planning team, providing coaching, training, and support as required.

    Establish and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.

    Plan daily/weekly site supply chain activities in conjunction with site operations, always aiming to improve or reduce costs.

    The preferred candidate would have the following specifications:

    Previous food manufacturing experience working in an FMCG environment in a similar role.

    Competent user of windows packages including Excel at intermediate level or higher.

    Experience with operating ERP systems (ideally O Cloud).

    Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) with the ability to influence.

    Good organisation skills.

    Good level of competence across all Microsoft office packages, particularly Excel.

    Role details:

    £40,000 - £50,000 (d.o.e)

    Pension Contribution up to 5%
