    Senior Site Engineer
    £54k - £58k + Car Allowance + Benefits Package
    North West

    The Role:

    Due to project wins and expected future orderbook, my client is looking to appoint a Senior Site Engineer to work as part of their regional set-up to play a key role on high profile builds across the North West. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years' experience with Tier 1 contractors working on multi storey RC/Steel framed build and be comfortable overseeing sub-contractors and liaising with the wider site team.

    The Client:

    A well respected cash rich Tier 1 Main Contractor that operate throughout the UK on a range of major projects across varied sectors: High-Rise Living, Commercial, Healthcare, Student Accommodation, Pharma etc. who work on projects from £40m - £100m.

    Duties to include:

    • Set site controls of works – Groundworks, Frame, Facades, Internal/external works
    • Running various packages – quality & accuracy checking
    • Setting out/checking where necessary (Competent in the use of Total Stations and GPS equipment)
    • Produce and assist in the production of ITP's and work inspection sheets and ensure all QA is completed and filed
    • Competent in using AutoCAD software
    • Able to interpret construction drawings
    • Raise design issues with design managers, architect and structural engineer
    • Able to liaise fluently between office, site staff, designers, clients and contractors
    • Able to keep accurate site records, site diaries, ordering plant and materials, quality and safety recording
    • Produce permits, risk assessments, method statements, work package plans and task briefings
    • Resolving RFI's
    • Overseeing and bringing on existing junior engineers
