Job summary
**This position is open to staff working at the Trust in the 'ECT Family' this includes current East Cheshire NHS Trust employees, bank staff, ISS staff and volunteers at the Trust.**
An exciting opportunity has opened for a part time Band 6 on Ward 7 & Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
Ward 7 & CCU are a dynamic workforce who are keen to help support & develop nurses interested in experiencing this exciting & changeable environment.
Ward 7 is a 28 bedded ward specialty of cardiology & endocrinology care. CCU is a four bedded unit for level 2 cardiology patients.Applicants must hold a mentorship qualification (or equivalent course) & with Band 5 experience within cardiology.

Main duties of the job
The role of the Band 6 is to support, contribute to and assist the Senior Sister in the leadership and the management of the unit team and to support the Senior Sister in the development, monitoring and implementation of high quality, evidence-based clinical care to ensure continuity of service provision and standards are maintained and improved.
The Band 6 Sister will act as a role model for staff on the ward sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues and members of the multidisciplinary team.
