We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team across Somerset. This vital role involves providing high-quality medical care in various Minor Injuries Units throughout the region.

With shifts available seven days a week, this position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on community health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage minor injuries and illnesses independently.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and provide followup care as necessary.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with NMC guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in continuous professional development and maintain uptodate clinical knowledge.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
• Proven experience as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on patientcentered care.
