    Opportunity at RRG Nissan, Bury – Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

    Basic £37,017.50 plus bonus (Based on working 42.5 hours per week)

    Are you a driven, enthusiastic and motivated individual? If the answer is yes to the above then we want to hear from you Our Nissan dealership in Bury is looking for a Diagnostic Technician. The successful candidate for our Diagnostic Technician position will have previous experience in a similar role. The Diagnostic Technician position involves: Carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards. Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control. Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge. Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work. MOT license is preferable although not necessary We expect our new Vehicle Technician to demonstrate some skills that will prove very beneficial in the position, including: An eye for detail. Ability to work under pressure. Communication skills. Full driving license. Continuous training is provided throughout your career with great opportunities for development. Normal working hours will be an average of 42.5 hours per week 0830 – 1700 Monday – Friday with half an hour unpaid lunch break. You will also be required to work Alternate Saturdays with no lunch break, which will be part of the normal working week.

    RRG Group Technician Rates 2024:

    Accredited Master Technician (All brands) £17.77 per hour, with an MOT £18.27 per hour
    Accredited Diagnostic Technician (All brands) £16.75 per hour, with an MOT £17.25 per hour

    Licensed Pro-Technician (Toyota and Lexus only) £15.73 per hour, with an MOT £16.25 per hour
    Licensed Service Technician (All brands) £15.22 per hour, with an MOT £15.72 per hour
    Unaccredited but qualified Technician (All brands) £14.71 per hour, with an MOT £15.21 per hour
