Hours: 46.40 Hours

Shift Pattern:
Continental Night Shift to 06.00 Monday to Thursday with a 20 minute unpaid break

Salary:
£16.58 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance) - rising to £17.48 per hour once fully competent

Opportunity Summary:
We have two vacancies within our Inspection Department and are currently recruiting for the role an Inspector.

Role Accountabilities::

Ensure that Inspection tasks are carried out as defined by the Job Card narrative, work instruction or customer drawing
Carry out 1st off, 100% visual and dimensional inspection, receipt inspection and CEO where required
Ensure any nonconforming parts are sentenced in accordance with the nonconformance process and key information is provided by Shop Floor personnel
Work as part of a team with colleagues to maximise factory efficiency
Be involved and carry out gauge R & R activities when required.

Person Specification:

Understanding of PCDIMIS operation (CMM)
Apprentice trained but not essential
Worked within an Aerospace/Automotive production environment for a number of years
Proven track record on inspection techniques and understanding of geometric tolerance.
An understanding and alignment to our Bromford Values; Respect, Integrity, Safety and Excellence.
