    Description

    Teaching Personnel is delighted to present a full-time position for a Computing Teacher at an Ofsted Good secondary school in Denton.

    This role is available to start in September for the full academic year, with the potential for permanency based on performance.

    As a Computing Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and educating students in the field of computing, including computer science, digital literacy, and information technology.

    You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing Computing lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring that all students develop essential digital skills and knowledge.


    Curriculum Delivery:

    Plan and deliver engaging Computing lessons covering a range of topics, including programming, algorithms, computer systems, and digital applications.

    Organise and supervise practical computing activities and projects, allowing students to develop hands-on experience and problem-solving skills in a digital environment.


    Collaboration:

    Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Computing department and across the school to share best practices, resources, and ideas for enhancing teaching and learning.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in Computing or Computer Science.
    Strong subject knowledge across various computing areas, including programming languages, systems analysis, and digital technologies.
    Previous experience teaching Computing at the secondary level, preferably within a UK school setting.
    Commitment to promoting digital literacy, computational thinking, and innovation among students.
    Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £46,525 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
