    Job Description

    To provide a comprehensive secretarial and general administration service to the Pathology department and most commonly histopathology.

    • Job Type: Permanent and Full Time.
    • Job Location: This role is located at The London Clinic's main hospital site in London, W1G 6BW (Close to Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations).

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • To undertake a comprehensive range of secretarial duties including audio typing and word processing.
    • Become familiar with both the Meditech and Apex computer systems in order to be able to retrieve patient data.
    • Maintain the histopathology filing system ensuring that files, forms and reports are easily accessible.
    • Ensure that an excellent standard of quality and customer care is developed and maintained within the area.
    • Ensure telephone standards are maintained in line with The London Clinic values and phones are answered with minimal delay and according to KPI.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word/Excel/Outlook

    • Able to analyse problems and to develop practical and workable solutions to address them.

    Able to persuade and influence people to engage in service improvements.
