Description

Analyse reliability data from both internal and external sources to identify design weaknesses and report/component failure analysis.
Perform statistics-based reliability calculations for new designs (MTBFs, FITs, derating, fault tree analysis) for presentation and review at the design gate reviews and where required to customers
Perform field data analysis to identify design weaknesses and report/component failure analysis
Analyse in house SPC data to review and identify any trends
Experience of a reliability or verification role along with the ability to analyse and interpret large data sets.
Experience in writing product verification test plans and using FMEA are both also important. Ability to read basic schematics and an understanding of analogue & digital electronic circuits
