Description

Our client, a world-renowned biotech business at an exciting stage in its evolution, seeks a UK Financial Controller for its UK head office team.

As a key member of the finance team, the UK Financial Controller is responsible for the UK financials for the UK entities.

You will report to the Group Financial Controller, working closely together for the month end internal reporting, and external Groupquarterly and annual reporting.

In addition, you will be involved in key projects, including the implementation of SOx controls.

Skills/experience

Qualified accountant with prior experience in monthly financial close activities
Strong technical accounting knowledge including UK GAAP and IFRS
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) would be beneficial but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
