Financial Strategy:
Develop and execute financial plans aligned with the division's objectives, collaborating closely with executive leadership.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead the budgeting process, oversee forecasting activities, and monitor variances to ensure financial stability and alignment with strategic goals.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present accurate financial reports, providing insights into the division's performance and advising on potential areas of improvement.
Risk Management:
Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Resource Allocation:
Optimise resource allocation to maximise efficiency and profitability, assessing investment opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate cross-functionally, communicating financial insights to various stakeholders, supporting decision-making processes.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, oversee audit processes, and implement necessary controls to maintain integrity in financial operations.
Experience:
Significant years of experience in finance. Prior experience in the energy or technology/commercial sector desirable.
Financial Acumen:
Demonstrated ability to develop financial strategies, strong knowledge of financial analysis, and a track record of successful budget management.
Analytical Thinking:
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
