Trinity House Group are currently supporting a prestigious business based in Birmingham City Centre who are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) or part qualified accountant to join them as a Finance Business Partner.

Working in partnership with and under the direction of the Senior Finance Business Partner, the post holderis responsible for ensuring the effective provision of operational support to the business on a variety of financial matters.

The post holder will be a key point of contact for advice and support on day to day financial matters for a range of budget areas.

With the support and direction of the Senior Finance Business Partner, have responsibility for preparation of budgets, business plans, budgetary control and interpretation of financial information in order that budget holders can manage their budgets effectively.

Key Duties, Finance Business Partner, £50,000, Birmingham City Centre

Ensure, with some guidance, that the financial information provided by the team is relevant and understood by budget holders. The post holder should be visible to all budget holders, available to offer a wide range of advice and support on all financialissues.
Provide knowledge and advice on best practice relating to all aspects of accountancy and management information.
Understanding and Interpretation of management information for a range of budget centres for use in business decisions related to finance level initiatives and reviews. This should be communicated to budget holders in a clear and concise way and guidancegiven on how to proceed.
Assist budget holders in ensuring their financial targets are met and that any deviations are reported appropriately.

Key Skills & Experience, Finance Business Partner, £50,000, Birmingham City Centre

Qualified accountant or Part Qualified Accountant

- have an analytical mind and the ability to think around / solve problems
- be comfortable handling large amounts of data
- be able to communicate complex financial matters to non-finance people
