Salary:
£24,501 Grade 8 FTE pro rata. This post is for a contract to teach 240 hours across the year. The Employability and Digital Skills curriculum of the GoLearn Leicestershire Adult Learning Service is looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Digital Skills tutor to teach in the West and North of the County that will include Coalville and Loughborough.


Digital Skills covers a range of introductory short courses through to accredited qualifications of Essential Digital Skills (EDSQ) at Entry Level 3 and Level 1.

Level 2 courses current being offered are Level 2 Digital Skills. Tutors may also deliver bespoke courses in partnership with other organisations. Full training will be given to experienced tutors to cover the EDSQ criteria.

As a progressive curriculum we are always adding to our portfolio of courses and qualifications. It is essential that tutors are responsive to new developments within the curriculum.

  • A recognised current qualification in Digital Skills at Level 3 or above.
  • Experience of Teaching Digital Skills Accredited Courses up to and including Level
  • A recognised teaching qualification equivalent to L
  • Recent experience of working with adult learners.
  • Ability to use relevant teaching and assessment materials and techniques to support learning, including the use of elearning technology.
  • Must have Level 2 maths and English or equivalent skills
  • Must be flexible to travel to different centres during the daytime or in the evening as required
  • Awareness of health and safety; equality and diversity issues.
