    Default job background
    Full time
    Description

    The Position

    Your new role, what's involved?

As an Associate Electrical Engineer you will be taking a leading role in a number of their most prestigious projects. The team is a close group of engineers working together in an effective and cooperative team atmosphere with a flexible hybrid working model to working practices. Their team find this a hugely beneficial feature of managing a healthy work life balance

They will be looking to you to not only be a client facing representative of the company, but also to lead an engineering delivery team in providing innovative and sustainable solutions.

As part of the wider team, they will be looking to you to incorporate their philosophies of sustainability, net zero carbon, digital design, modern methods of construction and smart systems into your design work.

    Your Team
The team is comprised of 10 engineers and part of a wider group of 35 engineers working across the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health divisions.

You will have a team of graduate, senior and principle engineers in supporting roles around you, as well as dedicated BIM and Sustainability specialists to contribute to your projects.

They'd love to hear from you if you have:
    · The ability to work as part of a team, but also take a leading role in managing engineers towards the delivery of our key projects.
    · Be able to apply technical judgment and resourcefulness to feasibility studies, concept, scheme and detailed design, as well as construction support phases of projects
    · Able to represent the company to their clients, whilst also understanding and delivering client needs in engineering solutions.
    · Have a good working knowledge of UK electrical building services design, including relevant standards, codes and regulations.
    · Be able to manage the technical, cost and programme elements of project delivery.
    · Experience of the UK Aviation sector is preferable, but not a requirement.

    What's in it for you?
Work-life balance – they recognise that work is only one part of your life and making time for other things is important – whether that's for your families, friends, or yourself. Their hybrid working policy allows the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home as well as collaborating in their contemporary offices across the UK.

Health & Wellbeing – They are committed to supporting their people, giving you the tools to make improvements to your health and wellbeing through the Thrive programme. Med24 also gives you and your family unrestricted telephone access to an NHS doctor where you can call day or night or have a face-to-face video consultation.

Flex your time – For improved work life balance, they offer the "Freedom Hour" which enables you to take one hour per day to do as you wish and make up the time earlier or later that day. They also offer part time and flexible working arrangements plus the option to flex your bank holiday entitlement to suit you.

Your development – They appreciate that development and training is important to you and that's why they have a supportive environment that invests in your development, whether that's chartership, training or mentoring.

Do you want support to achieve your career goals?
Wouldn't it be great to be a part of a team where they believe teamwork makes the dream work?
