Hampshire, Gloucestershire or Surrey – onsite at least 80% of the time
Up to £55,000 DOE

IT Business analyst seeking a new challenge? Would you like to work on the most advanced technology in the National Security domain?

iO Associates have partnered with a leading technology & engineering company working within National Security and Defence consulting, developing novel products that solve real world problems in mission-critical environments.
We are looking to speak to IT Business Analysts holding a DV clearance who would like to join our client at an exciting time of growth.
As an IT Business Analyst, you'll have a highly varied and exciting role, work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and help to understand their needs. You'll not only be involved in the client side work, but you will also get the chance to collaborate with and learn from a range of technical experts across various specialist projects.
The successful candidate will have worked on similar National Security or Defence projects, and have experience of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
In return, you will get the opportunity to join a rapidly growing National Security consultancy, who aim to solve complex problems within Intelligence & Defence.

What you'll be doing:

• Requirements gathering and benefits realisation.

• Identifying, mitigating and resolving risks related to the projects.

• Engaging stakeholders: acting as the bridge between them and the technical teams, and effectively communicating needs of both parties.

What you will need:

• Knowledge of project management methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall, SaFE

• Proven track record of effective business analysis, ideally within a Defence or National Security environment

• Experience carrying out typical Business Analysis activities – including but not limited to: Business Case development; Gap Analysis; Process modelling; User Acceptance testing

• DV clearance

Hold eDV but this role isn't quite right for you?
