Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2days per week in any of our Vitality offices (Bournemouth, London or Stockport).Full time, 35 hours per week.

We are looking for a candidate who would like to branch into a role of this nature of which we will be able to provide full training and a personalised development plan.

A Software Engineering Manager is accountable for the delivery of products and services and the performance of a Software Engineering team.

You will identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them, focusing the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services.

You will be quick on your feet to respond to change in a fast-paced environment utilising the best of Agile and Scrum Practices.

Agile and Lean practices
You can manage stakeholders' expectations and be flexible. You can facilitate difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders.
Financial management
You can report on financial delivery. You know how to guide teams through the implementation of a new process.
Planning
You can use data to inform planning.

You can help to create the right environment for a team to work in and can empower them to deliver.

Previous experience in a Software Engineering setting
We are looking for someone who is keen to move into a Software Engineering Management setting
