    Description

    Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading fire alarm installation, maintenance and commissioning organisation, who have a sizeable portion of work across Central Scotland.

    We are looking to recruit Fire Alarm Engineers ideally based in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Falkirk.

    Essentially you will need:

    • FIA Units 1-3 (minimum)
    • Knowledge of BS5839
    • IT skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Previous fire alarm experience
    • Customer focused with a strong service ethos
    • Full, clean driving licence

    The role:

    The purpose of this role is to provide Fire and Security maintenance (PPM) to our clients, attend callouts, fault find and complete small work installations.

    • Attend site and carry out maintenance, breakdown, commissioning, fault finding and remedial works
    • Complete all paperwork comprehensively in line with BS5839 and company policies Able to draw cause & effect chart as a flow
    • Proactively feedback on site issues to the service admin team
    • Supporting Small Works and Project Managers to complete installation works on time
    • Being a team player – assisting your colleagues with heavy workloads to ensure the full team complete their work within the month
    • Ensuring all the services are completed on time and in the month due to customers SLA's with zero backlog being carried into the next month
    • Weekly teams calls with your engineering supervisor to provide any relevant feedback from the field and to ensure good wellbeing
    • Ensuring while on-call, your phone is always switched on and you are available
    • Be commercially aware and feedback any potential business development information for follow up by the Small works/Sales team
    • Competently liaising with the client while on site always presenting yourself as a client ambassador
    • Attending training courses and manufacturer courses to support your role

    Additional info:

    • Full time, permanent position
    • 40 hr week with half hour lunch (Flexible to meet the demands of the role).
    • Callout 1 week in 4 (OT at x1.5 door to door)
    • Company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop provided
